The latest news about insurance innovation and LineSlip Solutions.
With its business growth accelerating, LineSlip Solutions today announced the appointments of two vice presidents. Christine Smith, who has more than 24 years of experience in the insurance industry, joins the firm as vice president and head of Production; Patrick McLaughlin, who had been in that role now transitions to focus exclusively on Product, helping drive innovation and oversee the development of LineSlip’s market-leading platform.
“As word of our unique offerings continues to spread throughout the risk management community, we are experiencing a dramatic upswing in demand for our products,” said Leo Bernstein, CEO, LineSlip Solutions, Inc. “Patrick and Christine are customer-driven professionals with extensive experience in leading risk and insurance technology implementation. We’re delighted to have Christine join our team and to see Patrick focus his role on broadening and developing our industry-leading products.”
At LineSlip Solutions, Smith will lead a high-performing production and implementation team that currently includes a dozen staff members. Previously, she was vice president at Crawford & Co. where she held leadership responsibilities for customer success and client engagement. Earlier, she was with Marsh for nearly two decades, serving in positions of increasing responsibility that culminated with her appointment as senior vice president and operations manager for the Southeast. She earned a B.S. degree in history from Lander University where she was an honor student and Rhodes scholar nominee, and an M.A. in history from James Madison University.
McLaughlin, whose 15 years of experience includes management positions with Zurich Insurance, Incisive Optimization, USAA and Progressive Insurance, joined LineSlip Solutions in 2018. As vice president of Product, he will leverage his deep familiarity with LineSlip’s capabilities and clients’ needs to drive product innovation. He earned a B.A. degree in interpersonal and organization communication from the University of South Florida and is pursuing an M.A. in project management and operations from Southern New Hampshire University.
Both Smith and McLaughlin report directly to Leo Bernstein.
