Answering YOUR Biggest Questions About Risk Management: |Unparalleled Episode 007

For the majority of season 1 of Unparalleled, we’ve been bringing on distinguished guests in the world of risk management to have conversations about different topics and trends in the industry.

However, as we are nearing the end of our first season (crazy, right?!?), we figured that it’s the perfect time to switch things up a bit. We decided to host a Q&A session where we answer our listeners’ biggest questions.

We took to social media and email and asked our listeners to submit their questions. We were surprised by the number of questions we received. Although we couldn’t answer every single question, we tried to answer as many as we could.

Some of the questions our host, Laurie Solomon, answered were:

  • What are the main ways risk management is different from the past? And why do you think this is?

  • How can technology be used to enhance risk management practices, and what are some key tools and techniques available?

  • How can businesses strike the right balance between risk mitigation and risk-taking, and what role does risk management play in achieving this balance?

  • What are some tips you have for managing a team of risk professionals? And how can you set them up for success?

  • Do you have any tips on how you can make senior leadership listen to what you have to say about risk management?

We even received some personal questions about Laurie’s own experience as a risk manager back in the day.

Give this episode a listen to find out how Laurie answered these questions and the insights that she distilled.

Let us know if you like this Q&A session and if we should have more of these. And if you have any other questions that may pop up in the future, feel free to email them to us at unparalleledpodcast@lineslipsolutions.com, and we’ll be happy to answer them!
